Eating our Cake

Pretty killer shots of us at Cake Shop on our last time through NYC. Had an awesome time with Rudy Stoned Band and Lead Stones. Much thanks goes out to our friends Andy Plovnick for setting up this great show. And Micheal Kiefer for being our awesome label boss and taking these fine photos of us. Love to you guys and our tour buddies Mark Gibson/Lord Candydish and Megan Petty aka Fuzzy Logic. We miss you all. Here's to next year and our next tour. Good vibes to long and lengthy tours in 2014 and a killer new LP. Starting on that very soon out at Zero Art Studio with Tate. Stay tuned for updates.

RevYo on the TermBo

Got us a nice little review for "Spectrums of Light" over on the Terminal Boredom site. Not our usual crowd to get a like from, but seems they dig it. Despite a few overlooked things in our opinion. We ain't gonna complain. A thumbs up is a thumbs up. Thanks ya'll, much appreciated. We do try hard and play rock n' roll. Here's what they had to say:
“Sometimes Just As You Are” is a slow burner/dick swinger that melds abrasive sonic shards onto some dank stylized noir. The quiet to loud dynamics are pushed to the limits as sparse thump and atmospheric creep gets pulverized under the abrasive chorus noise. Ttotals sounds as if they’re working out woes in an actual alleyway drenched in reverb and not just shut in a studio filled with cheap digital gear. Simple and effective. “Tricks Of The Light” rollicks in a moody batcave blues that really crawls on ya’. Imagine taking the drink away from Gallon Drunk or stripping The Flaming Stars down to their bare gristly essentials and you’d get something like this. Funny, I learned just minutes ago those two acts were related. Well, Ttotals might dangle from their hanging tree…Haunting shit that still ain’t afraid to rock. Released on Twin Lakes, which is also home to Michael Beach and Electric Jellyfish. That all makes a hell of a lot of sense too. Dead cool. (RSF)
In other news we have a show coming up this weekend at Elberta House. Gonna be a good one! We will be hosting our friends from RVA, Canary Oh Canary and finally playing with our new friends Onri. Hope to see all your faces there. This is our last one for the year, so we hope it will be a good. Cause we start work on our tentatively named "Let Everything Come Through" full length in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more news on that subject soon.

Heapz on the Horizonz

Check out the new cover (printed by our good friends at Kinship Press ) of our new 7" coming out on Twin Lakes Records ! Tate invited us back out to Zero Art to lay down the tracks. The tunes, needing mastering, found their way over to the hands of our very favorite spaceman, Sonic Boom. Where he put his special graces on 'em and sent them back to us with his blessing. We just turned them in at United Record Press. And are hoping to have the wax back by the time we hit the road to Austin Psych Fest. Speaking of the road. Here are our tour dates thus far;
April 19th - Kansas City, KS Art Closet
April 20th - Denver, CO Sidewinder
April 21st - Denver, CO In-store Wax Trax
April 24th - Albuquerque, NM Gold House
April 25th - Lubbock, TX The Meat Locker
April, 26th,27th & 28th - Austin Psych Fest
April, 29th - New Orleans, LA NOLA Art House
April 30th - Memphis, TN Murphy's
Everyone stay tuned for updates.

Glasses Reveal...

Check out the sick art work for our Sonic Cathedral 7". To bad it's already sold out. Hope you got your copy. You can get a digital copy over on itunes. We do believe it will be available there on February 21st. And don't fret we will have another 7" out very soon. This time out on Twin Lakes Records . You might recall us playing their showcase at STPP-fest this past October. We seemed to hit it off and a new friendship began. And the fruits of that friendship will see the light of day right before we hit the road for Psych-fest. Awesome times ahead!
